KwickScreen was born out of the dedication to solve the issue of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAIs). Now, 10 years on, KwickScreen supply healthcare systems globally; to every NHS trust, over 250 hospitals in the US and export to over 15 different countries.

  • Alan Murrell

    Alan Murrell, CEO


    Alan is the CEO of KwickScreen and leads the business globally. After a degree in Engineering at Imperial, he started his career at Standard Bank. He became CEO of KwickScreen in 2017 & since then has accelerated growth in the business. His vision, leadership & focus has seen revenue grow 12 times over.

  • Charles Spicer

    Charles Spicer, Chairman

    Charles is an experienced chair of fast-growing and innovative companies, primarily in the medtech sector, including Creo Medical Group Plc. (AIM: CREO), the surgical endoscopy company, IXICO Plc (AIM: IXI), the neuroimaging specialist, and NetScientific Plc (AIM: NSCI), the deep tech and life sciences investment group. In addition, Charles chairs an Invention for Innovation (i4i) funding panel for the UK’s Department of Health and Social Care.

  • Michael Korn

    Michael Korn, Founder & Non-Executive Director


    Michael is the Founder and Chief Innovation Officer at KwickScreen. After completing an engineering degree at Cambridge University, he did a masters at the Royal College of Art where his interest in infection control started. He leads our R&D team and over the years has been awarded the James Dyson award, the Lloyds Enterprise award & appeared on CNBC Business Class.

  • Mark Bickerstaffe

    Mark Bickerstaffe, Head of R&D


    Mark leads our Research & Development team in his capacity as a consultant. Originally trained as a mechanical engineer he studied at the Royal College of Art. From there he led Dyson’s Product Development team for the first ten years, through an exciting entrepreneurial phase of growth. Before joining KwickScreen, he spent 15 years as Global Director of New Product Development at Kohler, the number one Kitchen & Bath company worldwide.
