“Many of our patients are unable to travel far so it has been a long time since they’ve been on holiday, however the lovely scenery printed on the KwickScreens make our patients feel like they are going on holiday when they come to the ward. With different prints we can make it feel like a different destination each time they visit.”
— Mayumi Rossi, Ward Manager at the NMCCC
The UK’s first Neuromuscular Complex Care Centre (NMCCC) opened at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery two years ago, and we were privileged to be involved in the construction of this pioneering new ward. As an alternative to curtains, KwickScreen supplied a mix of portable and fixed to wall screens to provide privacy and dignity to patients, whilst brightening up the ward and being much easier to clean.
The staff and patients have been so pleased with their KwickScreens that the NMCCC has been a repeat customer, and other wards throughout the hospital have adopted the KwickScreen to meet their privacy and dignity requirements.
